About the Sussex Spaniel Association
The Sussex Spaniel Association (SSA) was founded on 3 April 1924 at the Kensington Society’s Dog Show for the protection and preservation of the breed.
Our mission is to encourage responsible ownership of the Sussex Spaniel, maintaining its true characteristics, working ability and welfare, to preserve and protect the breed for future generations to enjoy.
The Committee & Officers of the SSA are all volunteers and hold their position primarily for their knowledge, skill set and experience.
