'A3' List of Breed Specialists
This List
consists of Breed Specialist judges who are considered by the Sussex Spaniel
Association as being suitable to award Challenge Certificates in the breed,
have normally judged a minimum of 40 classes or 75 exhibits of the breed over a
minimum period of seven years, including a Breed Club Show, A Championship Show
without C.C.'s on offer or a Gundog Club appointment over a wide geographical
area and also save in exceptional circumstances, have bred and/or owned a
minimum of three dogs when they obtained their first entry in the Kennel Club
Stud book. They must have stewarded at a minimum of 12 Shows. These judges have
not yet been approved by The Kennel Club for inclusion on the 'A2' List. Judges
on this List must have attended a Seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited
Trainer and passed the relevant examination on Kennel Club Regulations and
Judging Procedures, attended another given by a Kennel Club Trainer on
Conformation & Movement. Have attended a Conformation & Movement
"Hands On" Assessment conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer
and passed the assessment and also attended at least one Breed Specific Seminar
in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed an
examination and/or assessment where applicable. Any Gazetted appointment to
award C.C's is indicated by month and year.

This List
