ANNUAL SUSSEX SPANIEL FUN WEEKEND 
& SSA LIMITED SHOW
SATURDAY 12^th & SUNDAY 13^th JULY 2008

PROPOSED TIMETABLE  

Saturday 12^th July

10 00 am - Grooming & Trimming Session – At the Farm Garden for all Sussex & their Owners.  

11.00 am - Ringcraft training & Adult Handling Session - For Show Exhibitors and Newcomers with experienced Show people to guide you. Lots of advice given.

The Burger Van will be selling Hot & Cold drinks, Burgers, Bacon Butties, Snacks etc from Late Morning  

12 30 pm- SSA Limited Show - Held under KC Regulations. To be held in the Reception Area of the Indoor  
School. Judging starts at 1 pm. Judge - Jane Graham. Junior Handling classes will be judged by Jane Howarth during the interval (after the dog classes).

4 pm Auction - At the Farmhouse Garden. Chris Wakefield is your Auctioneer. If you have any Sussex or Gundog related items you would like to sell, please contact Chris Wakefield preferably before the day. Tel: 01484 358135. A small percentage will go to Rescue. Annie Smith has offered a Painting Commission of your dog, with a Reserve of £60.  

6.30 pm   Barbecue – There is no charge for Barbecue food, but please bring a bottle and make a Donation to Sussex Spaniel Rescue.  It’s important that you let Liz know numbers as soon as possible for catering purposes.

Sunday 13^th July - In the Show Field (or Indoor School if Wet)  

9.30 am - Gun & Dog Event - Clay Shoot. All meet at the Show Field and the event will be held at the top of the Woods. Members with shotguns must be fully insured. Contact Bill Cadwell for more details Tel: 01872 863076.

9.30 am onwards - Scavenger Hunt – This popular event organised by Liz, is for the Children and those not participating in the Shoot. 

Sunday Afternoon 

12.00 pm  There will be refreshments available in the Show Field – Bacon & Sausage Butties, Tea, Coffee, Soft Drinks, Cakes etc.  

12.30 pm  - Agility Clear Round Course - £1 per round – Rosette for every Clear Round.  

2.00 pm - FUN CLASSES - £1 entry – Pay as you go in
Class 1  Fancy Dress                           
Class 2  Handsomest Dog
Class 3  Prettiest Bitch  
Class 4  Waggiest Tail
Class 5  Child handler 14 yrs & under  
Class 6  Veteran over 7 years
Class 7  Egg & Spoon Race
Class 8 Whistle Sacks
Class 9 Bending Race  

ALL PROCEEDS FROM THESE CLASSES AND THE WHOLE WEEKEND 
WILL GO TO SUSSEX SPANIEL RESCUE
